The ultimate weekend indulgence, this smoothie bowl recipe is definitely what makes me want look forward to waking up on a Friday morning. Packed with delicious healthy fats and long lasting carbohydrates, this bowl is designed to give you a big, nutritious morning energy boost whilst still tasting like everyone’s favorite guilty pleasure: Nutella!
Ingredients:
- 2 Frozen bananas
- ½ cup hazelnuts
- 1 tsp maple syrup
- 1 tbsp raw cacao powder
- ¼ cup Rude Health Hazelnut Milk
- ¼ cup Rude Health Porridge oats
Toppings:
- Crushed Tosi bites
- Sliced banana
- Crushed hazelnuts
- (Optional) raw chocolate sauce
Directions:
- Blend the bananas, oats and milk together with added/less liquid depending on the consistency you want
- Once a creamy mixture, add the hazelnuts, cacao powder and maple syrup and blend again
- Crush some Tosi bites and Hazelnuts lightly with a knife, creating a course granola-like topping
- Slice up a fresh banana
- Assemble the bowl by pouring out the smoothie into a bowl and then spreading the toppings on top
- Remember to be quick, as the smoothie will melt!
