Farah Hillou

Farah Hillou is an Integrative and Functional Nutrition Certified Practitioner (USA). She is a "Registered Dietitian" in Canada and the USA, and is Licensed by the Dubai Health Authority. By applying principles of Functional Nutrition, Farah focuses on addressing nutritional and physiological imbalances, as well as environmental triggers, to help get to the root cause of an individual’s health challenges. Her approach consists of an integrative one, using mind-body medicine and “food as medicine” to help achieve optimal health and balance.

Her expertise involves applying a holistic approach to address a range of health issues including: weight management, detoxification, irritable bowel syndrome, leaky gut, autoimmune conditions, thyroid issues, adrenal burn-out, chronic fatigue, hormonal imbalances, and food allergies/intolerances. Farah works with clients to help set realistic goals, and provides support and guidance throughout their journey to healing and wellness.

Farah also teaches nutrition as an adjunct faculty at the Department of Health Sciences, Zayed University. Her work has appeared in several media outlets including Abu Dhabi TV, Sky News Arabic and Gulf News. She has worked in corporate wellness, and continues to take part in nutrition workshops and seminars within the community.
